Grace is born the day after the world learns a giant asteroid is on a slow, unstoppable path to Earth. She is one of “The Damned,” the first generation that will not reach adulthood. As a teenager, she spirals into addiction, lost to Sink, a black-market drug. Abandoned buildings, now known as Sink Holes, become her refuge as she tries to outrun extinction. But the birth of her daughter gives her a reason to fight for a future she never expected to have. Together, they must undertake a perilous odyssey across a collapsing world, in search of a sanctuary that may not exist.
